Cole M. Night Assignments

Assignment 1: Reasons for Writing

Elie Wiesel had many reasons for writing Night. One was that he wanted to write an autobiography over his life when he was 15 years old. He also wanted people to know what happened so that it could never happen again. He was very upset when he was creating the abridged version because he didn’t want to leave anything out of the original version. Elie Wiesel’s autobiography is very depressing because it is a true story about the holocaust.
